India Kawasaki Motors has just rolled out the all-new 2025 Ninja 300. The legendary entry-level sportbike now comes with sharper styling, improved aerodynamics, and a fresh set of features that make it even more tempting for young riders and sportbike enthusiasts alike.
This launch is extra special—it marks the 42nd anniversary of the legendary Ninja series, which began way back in 1984 with the game-changing Ninja 900 (GPz900R). Four decades later, the Ninja name is still setting standards in performance, design, and road presence.
What’s New in the 2025 Ninja 300?
The 2025 update keeps the core Ninja DNA intact but gives it a modern twist:
Updated Design
- A larger floating windscreen for better wind protection, inspired by the ZX-10R
- New dual projector headlights borrowed from the Ninja ZX-6R—looks premium and helps night visibility
- Fresh tyre pattern for better grip and road feel
- Still rocking the iconic “mass-forward, minimal-tail” Ninja silhouette

Engine & Performance
No changes to the powerhouse here, but that’s not a bad thing:
- 296cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine
- 39 PS @ 11,000 rpm and 26.1 Nm @ 10,000 rpm
- 6-speed gearbox with Assist & Slipper Clutch for smoother downshifts and lighter lever pull
- Dual throttle valves for smooth power delivery and fuel efficiency
- Balanced heat management for better comfort in city traffic
This engine is known for being beginner-friendly yet punchy enough to keep things exciting, whether you’re on the highway or carving through twisties.
Chassis & Ride
- Steel-tube diamond frame ensures strength and high durability
- Telescopic forks up front and a gas-charged Uni-Trak monoshock at the rear with preload adjustability
- Larger tyres paired with revised geometry for better road manners
Rider Comfort Upgrades
Kawasaki has added thoughtful touches like:
- Hot air deflectors near the radiator to keep heat away from the rider
- Better ergonomics thanks to minor tweaks in frame angles and fairing cutouts
Color Options & Pricing
You get to pick from:
- Lime Green
- Candy Lime Green
- Metallic Moondust Gray

The price? ₹3.43 lakh (ex-showroom). Deliveries start from June 2025 across Kawasaki dealerships in India.
The MY25 Ninja 300 is a well-rounded update that sharpens the appeal of an already loved motorcycle. It’s not trying to reinvent the wheel, but rather fine-tune what made the Ninja 300 special in the first place—a balanced blend of performance, design, and daily usability. Whether you’re a new rider or just someone who appreciates Kawasaki’s racing DNA, the updated Ninja 300 is still one of the most stylish and capable 300cc sportbikes you can buy.
