Ducati has introduced the DesertX Discovery in India, a machine engineered to tackle any terrain and deliver thrilling adventures both on and off-road. The Ducati DesertX Discovery is equipped with a rich set of accessories and a proven technical foundation, including a 21″ front wheel that ensures stability and control in the toughest conditions. Its new Thrilling Black/Ducati Red livery sets it apart, making a statement in any environment—whether cruising through city streets or tackling rugged off-road trails where the road ends. The DesertX Discovery is now available at all Ducati dealerships across India, with an Ex-Showroom Price of INR 21,78,200.
Designed to be unstoppable, the DesertX Discovery boasts a comprehensive set of standard features built for rugged journeys. It comes equipped with reinforced hand guards, an engine guard with water pump protection, a radiator grille, and a reinforced sump guard—ensuring maximum durability. For enhanced rider comfort, heated grips and a larger touring windshield provide additional protection against harsh weather conditions, while the central stand offers stability and ease of maintenance.
More than just an off-road powerhouse, the DesertX Discovery is also well-suited for road travel. Its nimble and precise chassis ensures effortless handling, making it an intuitive ride even on winding alpine roads. The Turn-by-Turn navigation system, accessible via the Ducati Link App, enhances the touring experience by displaying route directions directly on the dashboard.
With its steel trellis frame and long-travel suspension, this versatile motorcycle is equally at home on paved highways and rugged dirt tracks. At the heart of the DesertX Discovery lies the 937cc liquid-cooled Testastretta 11° desmodromic engine, delivering 110 hp at 9,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 92 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The engine has been fine-tuned for adventure riding, featuring optimized gear ratios and electronic aids tailored for diverse terrains. The motorcycle offers three riding modes for road travel and two specifically designed for off-road adventures. A 21-liter fuel tank ensures extended travel ranges, minimizing refueling stops and allowing for uninterrupted exploration.
