Kawasaki might be considering to launch the Z400 in India. The new updated version was recently displayed at the 2019 Bangkok International Motor Show. Considering the capacity and power it produces which lies at 45 PS @ 10,00 RPM and 38 Nm @ 8000 RPM it looks to be quite ideal for our riding conditions.

The Ninja 400 is already available in the Indian market and is the fully faired avatar of the Z400 and is quite expensive at almost 4.5 lakh ex-showroom. We surely hope that if Kawasaki is considering the Z400 for India they will also look at the CKD route to keep prices competitive. With the Ninja 300 priced around 3 lakh ex-showroom it really makes the anything above 3.5-3.6 ex-showroom for the Z400 look quite expensive.
