Ultraviolette Automotive has introduced its state-of-the-art DC Fast Charging infrastructure – UV SUPERNOVA. Designed to redefine the landscape of intercity and cross-country travel for its patrons, Ultraviolette’s F77 customers can now enjoy expedited charging times and heightened convenience with the rollout of SUPERNOVA.
In this groundbreaking initiative, Ultraviolette unveils two offerings within its charging ecosystem: SUPERNOVA, delivering 6 kW charging capacity, and SUPERNOVA PLUS, boasting 12 kW charging capability. This launch signifies a monumental stride for Ultraviolette as it revolutionizes the electric mobility experience, empowering F77 riders to embark on cross-country journeys with unparalleled ease and confidence.
The initial phase witnesses the deployment of over 100 SUPERNOVA and SUPERNOVA PLUS DC Fast Charging stations, with 10 stations already operational in strategic locations across Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu. Positioned along prominent motorcycling routes and key highways, these stations ensure swift replenishment for riders and their F77s, facilitating seamless travel transitions.
Equipped with Type 6 connectors adhering to the IS17017-2-6 (IEC 62196-6) Standard recognized by the BIS, Ultraviolette’s SUPERNOVA DC Fast Charging stations guarantee compatibility and user-friendliness. The SUPERNOVA features dual 3 kW DC Fast Charging guns, while the SUPERNOVA PLUS elevates the experience with dual 6 kW DC Fast Charging guns, enabling rapid and efficient charging solutions that complement the optional Boost charger available with the F77.
