The Italian exotic bike manufacturer MV Agusta recently gave us a sample of what’s to come. October 19th saw an official pre-launch unveiling of MV Agusta’s two leading flagship bikes, Brutale 1090 and F3 800 for the India. The MV Agusta bikes are brought to us by the Kinetic Group who has an exclusive agreement with the Varese based MV Agusta S.p.A of Italy. Kinetic Group will be responsible for the import, sales and services of the MV Agusta bikes which will be available in their own exclusive showrooms from early 2016. The bikes were unveiled at the blueFROG in Pune. The event was attended by all major Pune-based motorcycling groups and saw an attendance of over 200 bikers and superbike enthusiasts. The Managing Director of Kinetic World Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Ajinkya Firodia unveiled the MV Agusta Brutale 1090 and the MV Agusta F3 800 to the crowd.

MV Agusta is a legendary Italian bike manufacturer which was founded in 1945. The Italian company has a great history and has won multiple titles in the 500cc and 350cc category road racing world championships in the past. They have also won numerous races at the Isle of Man TT which is considered to be the world’s toughest road racing circuit. Today, MV Agusta is considered to be one of the few exotic high-performance motorcycle manufacturers around the world.

The bikes of MV Agusta were designed by the legendary Italian motorcycle designer Massimo Tamburini. Both the MV Agusta Brutale and the MV Agusta F3 were originally designed by him.

The MV Agusta Brutale 1090 is powered by a four-cylinder 1078 cc engine which produces a maximum of 144 bhp @ 10,300 rpm and a maximum torque of 112 Nm @ 8,100 RPM. The Brutale 1090 has a top speed of 265 kmph and features 8-stage traction control and ABS. The bike would carry an introductory price of INR 17.99 lakh and the delivery period is expected to be about 2-3 weeks.

The MV Agusta F3 800 is considered to be one of the best looking superbikes in the world. The bike is powered by a 798 cc three-cylinder engine which makes an amazing 148 bhp @ 13,000 rpm and a peak torque of 88 Nm @ 10,600 rpm which takes the bike to a claimed top speed of 269 kmph. The F3 is also equipped with 8-stage traction control and ABS. The pricing for the MV Agusta F3 will be announced during the official launch function later this year.
