Bajaj Auto has officially launched the Platina 100 Kick-Start or KS variant in the Indian market for a price tag of INR 40,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and this machine now gets a CBS (Combined Braking System). The bike can now be booked across all Bajaj dealerships throughout India and is cheaper by roughly INR 7,000 as compared to the Platina ES (Electric Start) model. This is the entry-level offering in the Bajaj Platina range which has done well for the company not just in India but several other South-Asian markets as well.

The President, Motorcycle Business at Bajaj Auto, Sarang Kanade, stated that the Bajaj Platina is already known for offering superior mileage and comfort for regular commuters and the new Platina 100 KS offers more value at a competitive price point.
It retains its ComforTec features and the 102 cc engine that makes 7.8 BHP and 8.34 Nm. Top speed stands at 90 kmph while there is a four speed transmission system as well. There are two colour options, namely Cocktail Wine Red and Ebony Black that gets silver coloured decals.
