First official photographs have come in of the all new 2013 Benelli 600cc BN 600. This burly looking motorcycle comes with a four stroke, inline four cylinder engine that is liquid cooled. It also features double over head cam shafts and 4 vales per cylinder. The engine is fuel injected and delivers a peak power of 82 HP @ 11,500RPM and max torque of 52Nm @ 10,500RPM.
Design wise Benelli has chosen to give the BN 600 a sharp yet a bulky look. The BN 600 looks very aggressive, but at the same time has a very comfortable riding position making it easy to handle in urban environments. The frame is made of steel supported by an aluminium structure at the rear. The fuel tank capacity is at 15 litres. The BN 600 has USD forks at the front and an aluminium swingarm with a pre-load adjustable rear mono shock absorber. The braking is handled by a 320mm twin discs with four piston callipers at the front and a 240mm single disc with two piston callipers at the rear. 17 inch Aluminium alloys are used to save weight and feature 120/70 section tyres at the front and a 180/55 section tyre at the back.
