The Suzuki GSX-R has sold a million pieces over the past 25 years and to mark this milestone Suzuki has announced a special edition GSX-R1000. It features a special paint job that comprises of black Brembo mono-block callipers with golden highlighted letters, wheel stripes, gold coloured forks, a numbered top yoke, red fork tops and few minor details. The specifications remain the same though.
The GSX-R 1000 received some major updates last year with Suzuki moving to a single sided exhaust, bigger pistons, a better Brembo setup and minor internal engine changes. One thing that we do miss on the big Suzuki is the electronics that has become the norm nowadays. It still is on the heavier side at 203kgs but definitely packs a punch with power figures northwards of 180bhp.
