Benelli have always stayed true to what they believe in, make hardcore performance motorcycles. Now when such performance oriented motorcycles reach the hands of a tuner, what you have is nothing short of magic. Evotech have supercharged the Benelli TNT 1130 with a Rotrex C15-16 centrifugal-type compressor that can spin upto 12,500RPM. This addition meant they had to redesign the air intakes, reinforce the airbox with carbon fibre and billet aluminium and then add a high pressure fuel pump from Yoshimura and also a Motec M84 ECU.
The Benelli TNT Tornado 1130 with its 3 cylinders and 12V DOHC now produces a max power of 193BHP and max torque of 145Nm. The chassis is from a limited edition Benelli TNT Tornado that uses a special mix of chrome-molybdenum and die cast aluminium in sections that facilitate for mid corner flex. Braking is handled by Brembo’s at both ends, suspensions by Ohlins in the front and a fully adjustable AB1 Mupo unit at the rear and magnesium alloys from OZ for the wheels. In addition to all this Evotech has added a multifunction digital meter through which the rider can change various attributes of the supercharger and the ECU.
