The first set of spy pictures of the BMW R1250 GS appeared on the internet just about a month back. The current photograph is exactly from the same location and luckily for us much more clear. With laws enforcing more strict rules to keep it green, BMW have moved to a new boxer engine which is liquid cooled (basically water). This move was evident way back in 2010 with the incorporation of the twin shaft yokes. The chassis has been obviously revised but a lot of care has been take so that it does not loose the classic GS look.

Visually, those who are very adept with the previous GS configurations will see the different looking engine, exhaust system and the shifted swing arm. In addition to these the R1250 GS gets a plastic wind shield and an LED cluster at front. We will in all probability see the finished product at the Intermot or later at Milan this year.
