The internet was set ablaze when Erik Buell Racing published the teaser image of its upcoming model the EBR 1190RX. The company is pretty secretive about the details, but what we do know is that it shares the same engine from the 1190RS and is of-course fully street legal. The only details that the company divulged was that the 1190RX would come with a lot of EBR specials that will trickle down from its race bikes. Erik Buell is all set to launch this motorcycle at the upcoming inaugural edition of the American International Motorcycle Expo (AIMExpo).
Hero MotoCorp partnered with EBR in early 2012 and early this year announced that they will be buying into EBR and own a strategic 49.2% of the company. Powered buy this huge inflow of money EBR has taken big strides in its dealer expansion, R&D and slowly will move to more production models while at the same time share R&D with the Indian company to develop its own models. In-fact we have confirmed news that EBR and Hero MotoCorp are jointly developing a 250 cc motorcycle. The EBR 1190RX will be the first of many such motorcycles and the wait begins.
