Bajaj has just launched the Pulsar 200NS in Jakarta in collaboration with Kawasaki. Bajaj and Kawasaki share what they have here in India with the roles reversed in Jakarta, Indonesia. The 200NS is priced at 23.5 million Indonesian Rupiahs which comes up to around 1.37 Lakh in Indian rupees. In a market that is dominated by light and nimble motorcycles the Pulsar brand is that of a premium motorcycle that is synonymous with touring.
The Indonesian version on the Pulsar 200NS is pretty much the same as of that we have here except for some new decals and of-course a lot of Kawasaki branding thrown around. The service would be done at the Kawasaki centre something that is on the lines of the ‘Pro-biking’ centres that we had. There were initial reports that suggested that the 200NS might get an FI upgrade soon and the Indonesian version was rumoured to debut this version, but the current version is still the carbureted one. Check out below the photographs from the launch event thanks to Andy Pierre our man at Jakarta.
