Suzuki Motorcycles India have just launched a limited edition version of the Hayabusa called the Hayabusa Z in India at a price of Rs. 16,20,000 (ex-showroom price, Delhi). This limited edition Hayabusa will be at a premium of 25K over the existing version and will be available in two colour options, Pearl Vigor Blue and Pearl Bracing White. The limited edition Hayabusa Z will come with a Yoshimura Slip–On R-77J Carbon End Exhaust that makes the Hayabusa sound absolutely fantastic while also giving a slight power boost. This exhaust has a special trapezoidal design and a muffler’s front cap which is MIG-welded. The end cap on this Yoshimura exhaust has polished stainless steel rivets and bands. Suzuki are also offering special gifts to customers of the limited edition Hayabusa Z. Each buyer will get a 1:48 scale model of the very popular Yoshimura Hayabusa X1 and a Suzuki racing calendar.
The Suzuki Hayabusa does not need any introduction and right from its launch has attained a special status amongst motorcyclists all over the world. The massive motorcycle that weighs 266 kgs and has a 1.3L engine produces approximately 195 horses and a staggering 154 Nm of torque. Electronics wise, the Hayabusa comes with ABS and three different ride/power modes. With its massive proportions the Suzuki Hayabusa still remains the motorcycle to beat. Over the years it has been the top choice for custom builds and there are several turbo versions made by fans that churn out close to 500 horses. In its stock form the Hayabusa will do a 0 – 100 kmph in 3 seconds flat and continues to a 200 kmph in about 7.3 seconds and a top speed that has been limited to 299 kmph. Come 2016 and Suzuki is all set to upgrade the iconic Hayabusa. It will in all probability get some more off the line power and better, updated electronics.
