Second time in a row, SRC Kawasaki has won the 34th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, 4th round of the 2011 Qtel FIM Endurance World Championship with Julien da Costa, Grégory Leblanc and Olivier Four. Not only did Kawasaki just win the title but did it in record breaking style with 834 rounds, which is six more than the number of laps last year.

BMW struggled with technical difficulties while Suzuki earlier this week was without a rider as he crashed during the test earlier this week. Last year’s second place winner Yamaha had to settle with the last spot on the podium, just ahead of Kawasaki Swiss team that finished fourth. The BMW team eventually finished seventh in what was little consolation after what happened to them.
