The CFMoto 300SR has now been officially revealed. Bookings have also opened for the motorcycle in Vietnam. The CFMoto 300 SR will make its way to the Indian market later this year.

The CFMoto 300SR is one of the most-awaited motorcycles in recent times. It marks the brand’s entry into the 300cc supersport motorcycle segment. It looks extremely sporty and stylish and by the looks of it offers a pretty aggressive riding posture.
It boasts of lots of sharp edges while the fuel tank is muscular. It also comes with a unique rear-end and a high-perched pillion seat. The CFMoto 300SR also features attractive graphics. The 300SR is being offered in two colours — Nebula Black and Turquoise Blue. Though both colours look attractive, it is the Nebula Blue that gets the sportier race-themed graphics.

The SR suffix stands for Sports Racing. Giving this motorcycle the power to do sport and racing is a liquid-cooled, 292.4cc, single-cylinder, DOHC engine. It produces a maximum power of 28.70bhp at 8,750RPM and a peak torque figure of 25.3Nm at 7,250RPM. A 6-speed gearbox drives the rear wheel.
Braking duties are handled by a 292mm disc brake up front and a 220mm disc brake at the rear. The CFMoto 300SR is suspended by a 37mm upside-down fork up front and a mono shock at the rear. In terms of electronics, it comes with a TFT colour display for instrumentation.
With this motorcycle, CFMoto now has a challenger to the KTM RC390, Yamaha R3, Kawasaki Ninja 300, etc. However, it does seem a little underpowered in the face of these motorcycles. Well, we do expect competitive pricing though.
