The 2021 Kawasaki Z650 has been launched in India. Kawasaki has launched the 2021 Z650 in the Indian market with a price tag of Rs 6.04 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2021 update is limited to aesthetic changes while the motorcycle remains the same mechanically.

2021 Kawasaki Z650

The Z650 is one of the best-selling motorcycles for Kawasaki in India and several other markets. It provides a perfect blend of performance, rideability, and comfort combined with a reasonable price tag. Now, Kawasaki has updated the motorcycle for the 2021 model year.

Right off-the-bat, the biggest change immediately stands out. The motorcycle now gets fluorescent green wheels. It still comes in the same Metallic Spark Black colour scheme, but now features an attractive shade of fluorescent green on the wheels, the chassis, and the rear sub-frame.

Other than this small change in the colour scheme, the motorcycle carries on with the same design language. It looks aggressive and muscular. Up front is an LED headlamp and right above it is a small windscreen behind which is a 4.3-inch full-colour TFT screen that handles instrumentation duties. The fuel tank is muscular and has cuts and creases at all the right places. The rear-end is subtle yet attractive.

The 2021 Kawasaki Z650 is powered by the same engine as the outgoing model. It is a liquid-cooled, 649cc, parallel-twin cylinder motor with a maximum power output of 67.3bhp at 8,000rpm and a peak torque output of 64Nm at 6,700rpm.

Suspension duties are handled by a telescopic fork up front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking is taken care of by twin petal discs up front and a single petal disc at the rear. The 2021 model is now available at Kawasaki dealerships across the country.
