Royal Enfield has launched a ‘Ride Sure’ program for its customers which allows them to avail certain benefits by paying a fixed sum of money depending on the model. What this program actually is and what benefits does it offer? Let’s find out.
The Ride Sure program is available in three packages – Basic, Basic Plus, and Premium. The Basic package provides an extended warranty – up from 3 years/30,000km to 4 years/50,000km. It is available from Rs 2,150 for 350cc models and from Rs 2,650 for 500cc models.
The Basic Plus package offers the same benefits of the Basic package with an additional Roadside Assistance (RSA) option for four years. This package is for Rs 3,100 for 350cc models whereas for 500cc models you’d need to spend Rs 3,650.
The last package is the Premium package which, as you’d have guessed it already, provides all the benefits of the Basic Plus package along with free replacement of brake pads, accelerator cables and clutch cables. To buy this, you’d need to shell out Rs 5,300 for 350cc models and Rs 5,900 for more powerful 500cc Royal Enfield motorcycles.
You must be wondering why we haven’t mentioned the prices for the 650 Twins. Well, because the Ride Sure program is neither applicable for the Interceptor 650 nor Continental GT 650.
Interested customers can purchase the Ride Sure program from an authorised Royal Enfield dealership.
Notes-
- Replacement of parts will be done only if they have been worn out through normal usage.
- Extended warranty package covers most mechanical parts, including the engine, transmission, fuel injectors, crankcase, fuel pump, ECU and oil pump.
- To avail of the extended warranty, customers will need to follow the Royal Enfield recommended service schedule.
- Externally damaged parts, or damages due to accidents, will not be covered under the extended warranty.
