In a world where we are so busy that we forget to take care of our own health, home delivery services are flourishing. Whether it’s food, clothes, electronics, groceries, or medicines, everything is now available to buy online and be delivered at your preferred address. Now, Hero MotoCorp has taken it to the next level and is offering home delivery of its products!
Hero MotoCorp, one of the largest two-wheeler manufacturer in the world, has started its home delivery service in Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Noida. Hero says that it will reach to 25 more cities in the coming months.
Just like many other home delivery services in the country, Hero has its WEBSITE too where people can choose the vehicle they want (variant, colour) and have to select their State and City. They will also need to select the dealership from where they would like to get the vehicle. Once completed, you need to pay the advance booking amount or the entire ex-showroom price of the two-wheeler.
Soon after, a representative from a third party, which Hero has hired to carry out the documentation and delivery, will visit your place, collect the necessary documents. Then once the registration of the vehicle is completed with the local RTO, it is delivered to the owner. The fee for the home delivery is Rs 349.
It’s a good initiative by Hero, utilising the available technology and resources to provide the best experience to its customers. However, being keen observants and bikers, we would like to have an inspection of the vehicle in person which we are interested in before actually buying it. Is it just us or you guys do it too?
