We’ve been reporting about the upcoming Mahindra Mojo 300 ABS for quite some time now. The bike has already at a few dealerships and could be launched any day. But before that happens, we now know the price of the new bike. It is going to cost Rs 1.88 lakh (ex-showroom, Bangaluru).

For that price, you’ll get a BS4 compliant, 294.72cc single-cylinder engine that produces around 26bhp of power and 28Nm of torque, dual-channel ABS, wider Pirelli Angel CT tyres (110/70-R17 at the front and 140/70-R17 at the rear), upright riding position, and ByBre brakes.

There are many parts on the 2019 Mahindra Mojo 300 ABS that have been used to keep the cost in check. For example, the USD forks at the front have been replaced by a pair of conventional telescopic ones, LED daytime running lights have been removed, dual exhausts have been given away and we see a single pipe. But still, the new Mojo will cost Rs 4,000 more than the discontinued XT 300 variant. Well, that’s because Mahindra didn’t just remove expensive parts, it also added a few that we’ve already mentioned above.

The new Mojo’s direct rival will be the 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 which is the most value-for-money package in this category. It offers way more features, equipment, and power than the Mojo. And considering the fact that it retails at Rs 1.74 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru), it gets another upper hand against the Mojo. Let’s see how things turn out for the upcoming Mojo.
