Suzuki’s latest offering in the Indian market is the Access 125 SE which the company has just launched for Rs 61,788. SE here stands for ‘special edition’ and to make it special Suzuki has added a few new features.

The Access 125 SE is available in a new Metallic Matte Bordeaux colour option which looks fantastic with the beige leatherette seat. You can also get the already available colour options – Metallic Matte Black, Metallic Sonic Silver and Pearl Mirage White.

Apart from that, we also get a special edition badge, black alloy wheels, and chrome rearview mirrors. These are the cosmetic changes that set this variant apart from the normal variants. Talking about the normal variants, they get an optional DC socket for charging smartphones. But in the new special edition Access 125, it comes as a standard feature.

Suzuki hasn’t changed the underpinning of the new Access. It continues to draw power from the same 124cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine which produces 8.8hp at 7,000rpm and 10.2Nm of torque at 5,000rpm. The engine is one of the biggest USPs of the Access.

The new Access with the added features and a ‘special edition’ badge is available only in the top-spec disc brake variant and is Rs 1,600 dearer to the normal top-spec disc variant. Its main rivals are the TVS Ntorq 125 and Honda Grazia 125 which are priced at Rs 59,995 and Rs 65,374 respectively.

(All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi)
