The all-new Triumph Rocket 3 made its global debut earlier this year in August and everyone was in awe! The original Rocket 3 was a fantastic machine itself and thus, people’s expectations from its latest avatar were very high. Well, Triumph did all the thinking right and believe us when we say it, the new Rocket 3 doesn’t disappoint and is finally coming to India!

Triumph India is going to unveil the Rocket 3 at a special event on December 5th in Goa which also marks the British brand’s 6th anniversary in India. What a great way to celebrate the occasion, isn’t it? Also, we have the India Bike Week starting from December 6th where KTM is expected to launch the much anticipated 390 Adventure. Lucky us, right?

In the international markets, the Rocket 3 is available in two variants – R and GT – the latter being more touring-oriented. However, both the models are powered by the same 2500cc, liquid-cooled engine which churns out 167 bhp and a whopping 221 Nm of torque at just 4000 rpm.

The engine has to be the new Triumph Rocket 3’s one of the best features because, as per Triumph, it is the largest engine ever fitted in a mass-produced motorcycle. How cool is that?

The new bike is also lighter when compared to its predecessor. Triumph had to do a lot of work to make that happen. Thanks to the new lighter engine components, the entire engine is 18 kg lighter and the whole bike weighs 40 kg less than the previous model.

Triumph is certainly one of the most sought out motorcycle brands in India and we are glad that it is making its top-of-the-line products available for us.

Which is your favourite Triumph motorcycle?
