Honda Africa Twin is among the best adventure motorcycles available in India right now. Ever since its launch, its demand has always been quite decent and perhaps that’s one of the reasons why Honda will be bringing its new and updated 2020 African Twin CRF1100L in India.
As per the latest reports, Honda is planning to launch the 2020 African Twin CRF1100L in Indian in April and start the deliveries from May. However, we are still waiting for an official confirmation from the company.
Honda has done a slew of changes in the new Africa Twin. It gets a bigger 1,084cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine which produces 101 PS and 105 Nm which is an increment of 7 percent and 6 percent respectively when compared to the figures of the outgoing model.
The 2020 Africa Twin also gets Honda’s new 6.5-in TFT touchscreen display which supports Apple CarPlay. Apart from that, there’s an updated electronics package that includes a new 6-axis IMU, 6 riding modes, Honda Selectable Torque Control, cornering ABS, rear lift control, wheelie control, and much more.

There are two variants of the African Twin CRF1100L – Standard and Adventure Sports. The latter is more touring-friendly and has features like a taller windscreen, larger fuel tank, top-box and pannier mounts, wider sump guard and tubeless tyre compatible cross-spoke design.
As of now, the Africa Twin available in India had only DCT, however, it is being said that Honda might be bringing both the manual as well as DCT variants of the new model in the country.
