The new BS6 Hero Maestro Edge 125 has been launched at a starting price of Rs 67,950. This price is for the base variant of the scooter that features alloy wheels and drum brakes. Moving up the ladder, the alloy wheel with disc brake variant has been priced at Rs 70,150 and finally, the range-topping variant that gets a new unique colour option in addition to the alloy wheels and disc brake will set you back by Rs 70,650. So each variant has received a price hike of around 8 grand.

BS6 Hero Maestro Edge 125 engine
Powering this new scooter is the same 125cc, single-cylinder engine which we had seen in the BS4 model. This engine now gets fuel injection and is, of course, BS6 compliant. It produces 9bhp and 10.4Nm.
BS6 Hero Maestro Edge 125 features
Hero didn’t add a whole lot of new features in the BS6 Maestro Edge 125. It continues to have an external fuel-filler cap, semi-digital instrumentation cluster, side-stand indicator, under-seat USB, and Hero’s i3S tech. Apart from that, Hero has added a unique new iridescent colour option.
BS6 Hero Maestro Edge 125 competition
The new Maestro Edge 125 will compete against the likes of TVS Ntorq 125, Suzuki Access 125, Yamaha Ray ZR 125, and Honda Activa 125; BS6 variants of all these scooters are already available.
