We recently reported that Honda is going to launch its new and updated BS6 Activa 6G on 15th January 2020 and we are waiting for the official spec sheet to be released. However, there’s a leaked document that has revealed some key details of the upcoming scooter.
The new Honda Activa 6G will be slightly underpowered when compared to the Activa 5G, which was something we were already expecting. It will be powered by the same engine but with slightly less displacement at 109.51cc which will churn out a max power of 7.79 bhp at 8000 rpm.

Also, the new Activa 6G will be longer and wider than the current Activa 5G and will also have a longer wheelbase. This could possibly mean that there would some design changes and we could see new body panels and, perhaps, a larger under-seat storage space.

The last detail that the leaked document tells us is that the new Activa 6G will get LED headlights and a digital speedometer, which we think would be similar to what we’ve seen in the latest BS6 Activa 125.

Apart from the aforementioned features, we are also expecting Honda to include features like a more advanced digital instrument console, Honda’s silent start function, side stand engine inhibitor, USB charging socket, etc. in the new Activa 6G, which, when launched, will become the second BS6-compliant 110cc scooter of the country after TVS Jupiter.
