KTM Duke 125 is the most affordable KTM in India right now. It opened doors to a lot of people to become a part of the Orange family. This is one of the reasons why it has been selling like hot cakes. However, things are a bit different now as KTM has hiked the price of the Duke 125, yet again.
Yes, that’s right. The ‘most affordable KTM’ in the country still bears the title but is Rs 5,000 more expensive than before. This is the second price hike that the bike has received since it was launched around 6 months ago. The first price hike of ~Rs 7,000 was implemented on 1st April 2019.

At present, the Duke 125 price is Rs 1.3 lakh which is ~Rs 12,000 more from its launch price of Rs 1.18 lakh. As of now, there is no clear information as to why KTM implemented these two hikes in such a short span of time.

The Duke 125 has become the best-selling KTM in the country exceeding everyone’s expectations and even surpassing the sales of the Duke 200. It’s powered by a 124.7cc single, that is liquid-cooled and produces 14.5hp and 12Nm of torque and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Do you think these price hikes are justifiable and would you still buy the Duke 125 at Rs 1.3 lakh when you can have the latest Yamaha MT-15 by spending Rs 6,000 more?
