The Special edition features a state-of-the-art Bosch 3 level ABS, new Brembo M430 front callipers and front brake master cylinder, refined Aprilia Traction Control and map 1 Aprilia Wheelie Control for racing use, revised engine positioning inside the chassis to ensure ideal weight distribution, increased performance exhaust, optimized engine, friction reduction, improved crankcase ventilation, a new 200/55-17 rear tire and a tank design that is similar in design to the bikes that race at the WSBK Championships. Other changes include a larger fuel tank, reduced seat height and a satin headlight finish. Power now lies at 181.4 HP at the crank and 117NM of peak torque @ 10,500 RPM. The pricing of the Aprilia RSV4 Factory Special Edition will be announced on February 1.
