KTM has announced the 2014 Freeride 250R for the international markets. This power packed two stroke uses the same engine on the 250EXC, with different porting, no power valve and a smaller carb. The Freeride 250R weighs 7 kilograms lighter than the 350 and even with a new 7L tank it weighs just 92.5 kilograms. The exhaust is also different from the 350, this one gets a up swept exhaust. Other changes include 55m more of ground clearance, a larger air filter and changes to the gear ratios. Suspension is the same as that on the 350. Check out the 2014 KTM Freeride 250R specifications below along with more photographs of the bike in action.
