The Royal Enfield Himalayan has been priced at Rs. 1.55 lakh ex-showroom in Mumbai. This works out to an on-road price of Rs. 1.78 lakh and at that price point Royal Enfield surely has a winner. The Himalayan will only be available in two colour options namely – Granite (black) and Snow (white). It will have a service interval of 10,000 kms. The development team has kept the service team involved since its testing started in May 2014, so all service centres already have hands on experience with the motorcycle.
