KTM is planning to launch the Duke 250 ABS version in January 2019 and it will have a dual-channel ABS unit like the KTM 390 Duke and unlike the Duke 200 and 125 which has an single channel ABS system. The KTM RC 200 will also be upgraded with a single-channel ABS setup and the 250 Duke ABS may be costlier by roughly INR 10-13,000 due to the inclusion of the dual-channel ABS setup. The non-ABS version is currently priced at INR 1.81 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Only dual-channel ABS will be added to the KTM 250 Duke with no other mechanical or design changes expected. There is the liquid cooled 249 cc single cylinder mill powering this motorcycle and this dishes out 30 PS and 24 Nm. There is a six speed gearbox with slipper clutch in tandem with a trellis frame and USD front forks.

830 mm of seat height aside, the bike weighs around 161 kg. The KTM 250 Duke does not have any direct competition in the Indian market although at similar price points, there are other options like the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 X and Honda CBR 250 ABS.
