KTM Duke 790 is soon going to be launched in India. In fact, it is being said that some dealerships have already started accepting unofficial bookings for a token amount of Rs 50,000. Before the bike actually gets launched, here are some pictures of its official brochure and its first ‘Indian’ video.
The video has been captured at a KTM dealership. It is a short clip but it’s more than enough to get us excited and impatient about the bike. It also reveals the bike’s exhaust note which sounds kinda muted. Well, it was captured in a video so the actual exhaust note will be slightly different. And we are sure that there are going to be a handful of aftermarket exhaust units available.
The official brochure of Duke 790 reveals that it will have the same specs as the European model. So that’s a bit of a relief. It is powered by a 799cc parallel-twin engine with 105PS of max power and 86Nm of peak torque. The bike will also get various riding aids like traction control, riding modes, bi-directional quickshifter, supermoto mode, etc.
We hope KTM India will launch the new Duke 790 soon and wouldn’t keep us waiting for long because we are really getting impatient to swing our leg over it!
