TVS Motor Company has proudly stepped into electric mobility with the launch of the scooter TVS iQube Electric in Bengaluru. Priced at Rs 1.15 lakh on road it was launched by Shri. B.S. Yediyurappa, Hon’ble Chief Minster of Karnataka and Shri. Nitin Jairam Gadkari, Hon’ble Minister for Road Transport and Highways of India & Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Shri. Venu Srinivasan, Chairman, TVS Motor Company.
TVS iQube Electric is powered by advanced electric drivetrain of 4.4 kW and next gen TVS SmartXonnect platform. TVS iQube Electric is equipped with 4.4 kW electric motor to deliver both high power and efficiency with no transmission loss. The scooter has a max speed of 78 kmph and traverses 75 kms in full charge. The iQube Electric comes with an impressive acceleration of 0 to 40 kmph in 4.2 seconds. One hour charge will give you a range of 30 kms.
TVS iQube Electric is equipped with proprietary next gen TVS SmartXonnect platform and comes with advanced TFT cluster and TVS iQube app and has multiple features such as Geo-fencing, Remote Battery Charge Status, Navigation Assist, Last park location, Incoming call alerts/SMS alerts among others. These are enabled by an embedded e-sim that will be on subscription model and free for the first few customers or for the first year.
TVS iQube Electric comes with innovative features for delivering unmatched convenience such as Q-park assist, Multi-select economy and power mode, Day and Night display and Regenerative braking and provides a noiseless and comfortable ride.
The first few customers will also get a charging station installed at their home for free. Subsequently these charging stations will be charged at close to Rs 7000/-, while not a compulsory accessory it definitely helps to have it.
Available in a only a white colour option, the TVS iQube Electric is designed to reflect contemporary lifestyle and the design is stylish, subtle and functional. It is equipped with crystal-clear LED headlamps, all LED tail lamps and sports an illuminated logo.

The TVS iQube Electric can be booked through the website, as well as at select dealerships with a booking amount of INR 5000. This will be followed by dedicated customer relationship assistance for purchase and support. The customer can also avail attractive schemes offered by TVS Credit.
TVS iQube Electric is available in Bengaluru from January 27, 2020.
