Suzuki Motorcycle India has announced the launch of its OBD-2B compliant scooters – the Suzuki Avenis and the Suzuki Burgman series, which includes the Burgman Street and Burgman Street EX. The Suzuki Avenis is now available in a Special Edition featuring a new dual-tone colour combination – Metallic Matte Black No. 2 / Matte Titanium Silver.

The OBD-2B compliant Suzuki Avenis is priced at Rs. 93,200 (ex-showroom Delhi) and is available in four colour options: Glossy Sparkle Black / Pearl Mira Red, Champion Yellow No. 2 / Glossy Sparkle Black, Glossy Sparkle Black / Pearl Glacier White, and Glossy Sparkle Black.

The Special Edition Suzuki Avenis, featuring the new Metallic Matte Black No. 2 / Matte Titanium Silver colour, is available at Rs. 94,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).

The Burgman Street EX is priced at Rs. 1,16,200 (ex-showroom Delhi) and is available in three colour options: the new Metallic Matte Stellar Blue, Metallic Matte Black No. 2, and Metallic Royal Bronze.

The Burgman Street starts at Rs. 95,800 (ex-showroom Delhi) and is offered in two variants: Standard Edition and Ride Connect. It is available in seven colour options, including Metallic Matte Black No. 2 (YKC), Pearl Mirage White, Metallic Matte Titanium Silver, Pearl Matte Shadow Green, Pearl Moon Stone Gray (Standard Edition only), Metallic Matte Stellar Blue, and Metallic Matte Black No. 2 (Ride Connect exclusive). The Burgman Street EX has also been introduced in a new Metallic Matte Stellar Blue shade, expanding the existing colour palette.

With the introduction of these updated models, SMIPL has made its entire range of scooters (Access, Avenis, Burgman Street, and Burgman Street EX) and motorcycles (V-Strom, GIXXER SF 250, GIXXER 250, GIXXER SF, and GIXXER) fully OBD-2B compliant. This move aligns with the company’s commitment to meeting regulatory standards while enhancing the riding experience.

The Suzuki Avenis, known for its sporty and bold design, now comes in a Special Edition with the new Metallic Matte Black No. 2 / Matte Titanium Silver colour combination. This updated model retains its aggressive styling while offering a fresh, modern aesthetic.

Powering the Suzuki Avenis is a 124.3cc all-aluminium, 4-stroke, single-cylinder engine that complies with OBD-2B standards. This engine delivers 8.7 PS of power at 6,750 rpm and 10 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm, ensuring a responsive and efficient ride. The scooter is equipped with Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) and advanced fuel injection technology, optimizing both performance and fuel efficiency.

The Suzuki Burgman series, recognized for its premium urban cruiser design with European-inspired aesthetics, now meets the latest OBD-2B standards. Both the Burgman Street and Burgman Street EX offer riders improved efficiency and a refined riding experience.

The Burgman Street is powered by a 124cc all-aluminium, 4-stroke, single-cylinder engine equipped with Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) technology. It delivers 8.7 PS of power at 6,750 rpm and 10 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. Meanwhile, the Burgman Street EX features Suzuki Eco Performance Alpha (SEP-α) technology, incorporating Engine Auto Stop-Start (EASS) and a Silent Starter System. This model generates 8.6 PS of power at 6,500 rpm and 10 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. Additionally, the Burgman Street EX is equipped with a 12-inch rear wheel, enhancing its luxurious and modern appeal.
