KTM has introduced a new era of electronic architecture, featuring touchscreen dashboards in two formats: V80 (vertical 8-inch) and H88 (horizontal 8.8-inch), alongside updated handlebar switchgear and a new connectivity unit. This development elevates KTM‘s Human-Machine Interface (HMI) to a new level of usability. KTM’s commitment to delivering the ultimate riding experience is reflected in its focus on enhancing every aspect of motorcycling enjoyment. To achieve this, KTM has redesigned its HMI to create a more immersive and intuitive riding experience while minimizing distractions.

The 1280 x 720 resolution TFT dashboard now incorporates inductive touchscreen functionality, utilizing bonded screen technology with Anti-Reflex, Anti-Fingerprint, and Anti-Glare coatings. These features improve visibility from all angles and ensure excellent detail with 256,000 colors, a significant upgrade from the previous 65,000.
The inductive touchscreen enables easy access to information, regardless of weather conditions or riding gear, making it responsive to inputs with or without gloves. Virtual buttons on the main screen eliminate the need for auxiliary switches, providing quick access to functions such as heated grips, rider-heated seats, and fog lights, depending on the model.
The screen also offers enhanced customization, with configurable split-screen options and five available layout choices. Riders can choose between adaptive cruise control functions, map navigation, telemetry, favorites, or music as their home screen, with an option for a reduced, minimalist view.
In addition, the handlebar switchgear has been completely redesigned and optimized. It now includes a dedicated Ride Mode button, a 5-way joystick, a back button, new cruise control and automatic/manual mode buttons, as well as customizable paddle buttons for models without AMT. These new buttons are backlit and logically placed for easy use in any conditions.

Offline Map Navigation is now integrated into the motorcycle’s connectivity unit, providing real-time navigation without the need to sync or tether to a mobile phone. This feature supports active route guidance, route planning, and preprogrammed Points of Interest.
Connectivity has also been improved with the upgraded CCU3.0 unit, which offers 32 GB of storage and 3 GB of RAM, running on the Android Automotive operating system. This allows for IoT connectivity through eSim, GPS, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. The CCU3.0 ensures seamless smartphone reconnection with every ignition cycle, enabling riders to easily resume their music, view album covers, and access their full contact list.
KTM’s new approach makes it easier to update the motorcycle’s functions and features over time, similar to smartphones and other personal electronic devices. Initially, updates will be handled by KTM dealers, but in the future, over-the-air updates directly to the motorcycle will be possible.
Key features of the new unit include:
- App streaming capabilities
- Future Over-the-Air update functionality
- 32 GB of storage and 3 GB of RAM
- IoT connectivity
- eSim, GPS, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi support
- Android Automotive operating system
- Audio level control

KTM’s Premium Dashboard represents the pinnacle of motorcycle electronic architecture, offering an intelligent and immersive riding experience. Combined with KTM’s READY TO RACE DNA, this marks the beginning of a new era in technology, paving the way for smarter, more connected riding experiences.
The new TFT Dashboard will initially be available on KTM’s premium models, with additional options to be added in the coming years.
