KTM has released a teaser video for the 2012 version of their popular motorcycle the Duke 690. The Duke 690 for the year 2012 will be inheriting the styling clues of its smaller but more appealing sibling the KTM Duke 125 and the soon to be launched KTM Duke 200, with changed headlight and more vibrant “graffiti” styled graphics.
The Austrian manufacturer seems to have put in some serious time on R&D for meeting stringent new emissions regulations in Europe and the US while also upping power and reducing weight and price. A power bump is expected from 64 to “around” 70bhp, thanks to high-tech new features like twin-spark ignition (thanks to Bajaj ) and a ride-by-wire throttle. A weight loss is also expected despite the giant new exhaust can and its under engine collector.
