The Honda Gresini team has confirmed that they would participate at the Grand Prix of Valencia in memory of Marco Simoncelli after initial comments from the suggested that the team would be pulling out of the GP after the tragic accident. Team boss Fausto Gresini announced that they decided to compete in the race as that’s what Marco Simoncelli would have wanted and the race would be dedicated to him.
Marco Simoncelli popularly known as Super Sic, was one of the most talented MotoGP riders and always collected praise and criticism in the right spirit after each weekend. The Spanish race weekend will take place on November 4-6, 2011. It will be MotoGP season’s final round followed by a post-race test session.
