If there is one thing that we love about KTM is that they keep surprising us and better yet they keep doing that at regular intervals. KTM had already confirmed that they are planning 3 different motorcycle categories based on the same Duke 125/200/390 platform. The existing Duke series, the RC series and the yet to be unveiled Adventure series. The interesting part though is that the motorcycle spotted here by our friends at European KTM Forums falls in neither of the 3 categories.
The motorcycle here shares a lot of parts with the Duke series but stands taller with higher footpegs and of-course the silencer that is upswept to accommodate for a higher ground clearance. The seat probably is the biggest giveaway that this is a supermoto bike, its classic supermoto. And that’s all we know about this new KTM. So what are the chances that we can see this at the Auto Expo next year? Is there really a market for a supermoto bike in India? We expect the RC390 and the RC200 to be presented at the Expo, so lets just wait and see if something new presents itself in the coming weeks, things usually work that way when a spy photograph has been spotted, everybody goes into detective mode.
