KTM has been making the RC 125 for international markets for quite some time now. And soon the new baby RC will be launched in India, too, which will be a little bit different from its international counterpart so as to meet certain rules and regulations. But it won’t be just that, KTM might also introduce a new colour for the RC 125 specifically for the Indian market.
As per our colleagues at Autocar India, there would be a new funky orange-black colour scheme. This appears to be the loudest production-colour ever on a KTM in India. It clearly gets a lot of orange treatment all around which should appeal more to the younger audience.
Considering the sporty character of the RC 125, the new orange-black colour suits it quite well. It will also help to identify the bike from its elder and similar-looking sibling RC 200.
KTM recently hiked the price of the Duke 125 to Rs 1.3 lakh which is ~Rs 12,000 more than what it was first launched at. Considering this, the new RC 125 is expected to priced even higher, perhaps somewhere between the Rs 1.55-1.60 lakh range. It certainly offers a lot more premium features for a bike of its cadre but we can’t ignore the fact that there are other bikes, like the Yamaha R15 V3.0, that fall in a similar price bracket that offers much more performance and thrill.
Things will be cleared soon when KTM will launch the new RC 125 later this month.
