Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has officially stepped up as the title sponsor for Panchshil Realty-backed BB Racing ahead of Season 3 of the Indian Supercross Racing League (ISRL). Set to take to the grid as Honda BB Racing, the squad will fly the vibrant red colors of Honda Racing as it prepares to fight for championship honours in the upcoming campaign.

This agreement formalises a relationship that dates back to the league’s inaugural year, when BB Racing first chose to race using Honda machinery. As part of the new setup, the team will continue competing on Honda’s battle-tested CRF450R and CRF250R motocross models.

A Strong Foundation and Proven Racing Pedigree

Throughout the first two seasons of the ISRL, BB Racing built a reputation as a major threat on the track. A large part of that success came courtesy of star French rider Jordi Tixier, who delivered standout performances across both seasons. Tixier claimed individual glory—including a victory in the All-Stars category—while putting on high-intensity masterclasses for fans.

The new title agreement was formalised in Pune by Mr Atul Chordia, Chairman of Panchshil Realty and Owner of BB Racing, alongside Mr Mutsuo Usui, Director – Sales & Marketing at Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India. Representatives from both HMSI and the Indian Supercross Racing League were present to mark the occasion.

Strategic Focus on Off-Road Racing and Ecosystem Growth

The deal builds directly on HMSI’s announcement earlier this year regarding a strategic shift towards off-road motorsport. By backing Honda BB Racing, the manufacturer aims to deepen its footprint in Indian Supercross while bringing Honda’s international off-road racing lineage closer to local fans and riders.

The collaboration connects Honda’s engineering philosophy and international racing roots with BB Racing’s long-term strategy to build a top-tier Supercross franchise. For the ISRL, securing direct manufacturer support marks a key milestone in creating a structured ecosystem that connects original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), professional teams, global and local riders, commercial partners, and fans.

What the Leaders Had to Say

“Indian riders are increasingly exploring new riding experiences, with growing interest in adventure and off-road motorcycling. Our title partnership with BB Racing reflects our support for this evolving riding culture and for the growth of professional Supercross in India. Having competed aboard Honda machinery since the inaugural season of ISRL, BB Racing is a natural partner for us. Through Honda BB Racing, we look forward to bringing Honda’s global off-road racing heritage closer to Indian riders and motorsport enthusiasts.”

— Mr Mutsuo Usui, Director – Sales & Marketing, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India

“BB Racing has always been driven by a passion for professional Supercross and a commitment to building a strong team in India. Honda has been an important part of our journey since we entered the ISRL, and bringing the two together as Honda BB Racing is a natural next step. This partnership marks an important milestone for the team, and we look forward to competing at the highest level while contributing to the growth of Supercross and off-road motorsport in India.”

— Mr Atul Chordia, Chairman, Panchshil Realty & Owner, Honda BB Racing

“ISRL was created to bring together the key pillars needed to build a strong Supercross ecosystem in India, and manufacturer participation is an important part of that vision. HMSI’s title partnership with BB Racing is a significant step for the league and reinforces the growing role of OEMs in Indian Supercross. We believe partnerships like this can deepen industry participation and help establish India as a credible destination for the sport globally.”

— Mr Eeshan Lokhande, Co-Founder, Indian Supercross Racing League

With the Honda BB Racing crew lining up on the Season 3 grid with the CRF450R and CRF250R, this partnership signals an exciting new era for the team and strengthens the link between global manufacturers and the expanding Indian Supercross scene.
