iQOO has officially unveiled its brand-new iQOO Pad Ultra in China. Designed specifically for specification enthusiasts and mobile gamers, this compact tablet packs Qualcomm’s latest d with Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor, an active cooling system, and serious top-tier specs.
Compact Design with Integrated Active Cooling
Crafted with an aluminium body, the iQOO Pad Ultra keeps things looking clean and minimal. Up top, you will find the power button, while the volume rocker sits on the right side. Standard dual speaker grilles sit at both the top and bottom of the frame, but the back panel is where things get really interesting.
Below the main camera housing—which holds a single rear sensor alongside a circular LED flash—is an intake grille for the built-in 30 mm active cooling fan. Matching air exhaust vents are positioned along the chassis. Despite packing all this hardware, the device stays remarkably thin at just 5.74 mm and light at 298 grams.

High-Refresh OLED Display Built for Gaming
On the front, the tablet sports a compact 8.8-inch 2K OLED panel with an impressive 93.3% screen-to-body ratio and ultra-slim, uniform 2.6 mm bezels. The screen reaches a peak brightness of 4,500 nits and delivers a buttery-smooth 165 Hz refresh rate.
To keep control responsive for fast-paced gaming, it features a 5,000 Hz touch sampling rate, while PWM dimming works behind the scenes to help lessen eye strain during longer sessions. Audio and tactile feedback are handled by dual asynchronous vibration motors alongside symmetrical dual speakers.
Beastly Performance and Massive Thermal Setup
At the heart of the iQOO Pad Ultra is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, paired with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.1 internal storage. To help lower latency and lock in 165 fps frame rates in select gaming titles, iQOO has also fitted its custom Q4 gaming chip.
To handle high heat output during intensive gaming, the tablet builds on its active 30 mm cooling fan with a dedicated 12,118 mm sq vapour chamber and an overall heat dissipation surface area reaching 23,254 mm sq across the back.
Battery Life, Cameras, and Connectivity
Powering the setup is a 9,020 mAh silicon carbon battery that supports 66W fast charging. Camera duties are covered by an 8 MP front-facing sensor tucked into a punch-hole cut out, paired with a 13 MP snapper on the back.
On the connectivity and software front, the tablet supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. Out of the box, it runs OriginOS 7 based on Android 17, bringing along smart features like the AI recorder and Atomic Workbench.
iQOO Pad Ultra Price and Availability
The iQOO Pad Ultra comes in two colorways: Silver and Black. Pricing starts at 5,999 Chinese yuan (approximately Rs 86,000) for the entry-level 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage variant. Pre-orders are open now, with official sales kicking off on October 5, 2026, via the Vivo China online storefront. There is no confirmation yet regarding an India launch, considering the price point which competes with iPads and popular laptops, chances are slim.
