The final round of the 2017 Yamaha YZF-R15 One Make Race Championship is scheduled to commence at the Madras Motor Race Track, Chennai from 29th September, 2017. This championship will consist of 2 races which will conclude on 1st October 2017. The racing event is being organised in association with the Madras Motor Sports Club (MMSC) and the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI) and is a part of the Indian National Racing Championship 2017.
The race will be held for the Novice Category which will start with the qualifying round on 29th September, 2017. Total 40 participants will compete in the qualifying round. The top 20 performers in the qualifying round of Novice category will participate in the final race for the podium finish on 1st October, 2017.
The contestants will hit the track on Yamaha’s YZF- R15 version 2.0 and Yamaha will fill excitements to their riding experiences by fitting Daytona Racing Kits in the bikes. These kits are developed using valuable experience gained from MotoGP & World Superbike Racing and are designed exclusively for racing purposes in a closed circuit.
