BSA’s scrambler game just got a level-up with the Scrambler, and it’s easy to see this one’s got the classic British soul with a punch of 21st-century tech. From a distance, the bike totally nails that old-school, run-anywhere look—think round headlight with a grille, a stubby beak-like front fender, and a proper single-piece seat that screams retro adventure vibes. It’s beefier than the Gold Star, standing taller on its longer-travel suspension and ready-for-anything Pirelli Scorpion Rally rubber. Those wire-spoke wheels (19-inch up front, 17-inch at the back) and high handlebars complete the “let’s get muddy” attitude.

Underneath, there’s a thoroughly modern 652cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine with 45 HP and 55 Nm of torque, paired with a slick 5-speed box. The motor’s got some history—it’s a direct descendent of the tough old Rotax singles that powered BMWs and Aprilias fine tuned and updated to modern spec, regulations and the BSA feel. On the tech side, BSA’s piled on Brembo brakes with ABS, a USB port (Type A and C), and a digital LCD dash (borrowed from the Jawa 42—thanks to Classic Legends owning both brands), plus a bit of Bluetooth action. Fit and finish seems to be on par with what we saw on the Goldstar 650 and the whole thing looks premium.

  • 5 speed
  • 320 mm single front disc with Brembo Twin Piston caliper

Compared to its Gold Star sibling, the BSA Scrambler’s got a couple kilograms more, a fair bit more ground clearance, a higher seat (still manageable at 820mm), and a longer wheelbase for stability off-road. The exhaust stays low and understated, and the radiator is more visible—reminding you this isn’t just an old classic in a new frock.

Basically, BSA’s taken everything riders love about vintage scramblers and layered it with modern reliability and everyday practicality. Ideal for someone who wants old-school cool, but still needs their bike to start every morning and stop on a dime. Whether you’re getting lost on backroads or just want to look legendary at your local coffee shop, the BSA Scrambler brings the best of both worlds.
