Avore Electric has officially launched its first electric motorcycle, the Avore Electric EX. Unveiled in Ahmedabad by Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel, the launch marks a fairly significant milestone in India’s electric mobility journey. The EX name stands for Avore Electric Elevated Experience, and it’s available in three variants — EX 2S, EX 2 and EX 1 — with prices starting at Rs 1,24,999 (ex-showroom).

Avore Electric EX Price And Bookings

Bookings for the Avore Electric EX are now open on the brand’s official website, starting at just Rs 799. Customer deliveries are expected to commence around two months from now. The EX has been built entirely on Avore’s own indigenous AVORE Source technology stack and AVR vehicle platform.

Avore Electric EX Performance And Specifications

Power comes from a highly efficient, rare-earth-free Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM), reflecting Avore’s push towards an indigenous sourcing strategy built around resilience, supply chain independence and long-term sustainability. Depending on the variant chosen, the EX puts out anywhere between 7.5 kW and 10.5 kW of maximum power, while all three variants deliver a strong 250 Nm of peak wheel torque. Top speed comes in at 114 km/h for the EX 2S, while the EX 2 and EX 1 top out at 100 km/h.

Adding to the ride quality is an industry-first Integrated Motor + Swingarm Powertrain, referred to as the Drive Link Arm, engineered to improve weight distribution, structural rigidity and handling dynamics — all of which should translate into greater stability and rider confidence out on the road.

Avore Electric EX Range And Charging

Range anxiety is one of the biggest hurdles to EV adoption, and Avore has clearly designed the EX with that in mind. The EX 2S offers an IDC-certified range of 260 km, the EX 2 comes in at 255 km, while the EX 1 delivers 160 km on a full charge.

Charging is kept genuinely convenient too. Every variant gets a 1500W onboard fast charger, meaning owners can simply plug into any standard 5A or 15A household socket without needing dedicated charging infrastructure. A 20% to 80% top-up takes around 2 hours, while a full 0-100% charge takes roughly 4 hours. The battery pack itself is homologated by NATRAX, with the Battery Management System (BMS) validated by ICAT.

The Philosophy Behind The Avore Electric EX

Avore Electric has built the EX around a single guiding principle: start with intelligence, then build the motorcycle around it, rather than treating tech as an afterthought bolted onto a regular two-wheeler. That philosophy is summed up neatly in the brand’s tagline, ‘Intelligence Beyond Motion’.

Avore Electric EX Design

The EX brings an aspirational, timeless design language, developed specifically with Indian riders in mind. Avore has clearly put thought into making the shift from ICE to electric feel natural — not just in the tech, but in riding posture, ergonomics and the overall ownership experience too. Familiar motorcycle proportions meet contemporary EV engineering here, with distinctive dual-tone styling, signature tank lights, and the flexibility of both manual and automatic riding modes, all aimed at winning over traditional motorcycle fans while still showing off its next-generation electric character.

Avore Electric EX Tech And Rider Features

True to its ‘Intelligence Beyond Motion’ philosophy, the EX comes packed with a suite of proprietary technologies designed to make riding more intuitive, connected and effortless. At the centre of it all is AVORE SENSE, the brand’s proprietary operating system, working alongside AVA (Avore Vehicle Assistance) and Avore Synapse, an AI-powered companion that enables smarter, more personalised interaction between rider and motorcycle, automatically capturing ride statistics and rider insights along the way.

Riders also get Apex, the EX’s top performance mode, and Syft, a manual gear mode offering greater control over power delivery, alongside ARS for more intuitive rider inputs. The Drive Link Arm powertrain architecture ties all this together, improving handling, balance and overall riding dynamics.

Everyday convenience hasn’t been overlooked either. Flex Charge — the 1500W onboard fast charger — allows charging straight from a household socket, while Split Pack Energy, Avore’s side-by-side battery pack architecture, helps optimise packaging, weight distribution and thermal management. PAM+ park assist simplifies low-speed manoeuvring and parking, while a set of thoughtful convenience and safety features round things off: Guide-Me-Home Lights, Auto Indicator Cut-off, Ahoy! Welcome Lights, and Beacon, the bike’s signature tank lighting. An ergonomically engineered Ergo Fit riding triangle is also on hand to keep things comfortable, whether it’s a daily commute or a longer journey.

Avore Electric EX Safety And Durability

Avore Electric has engineered the EX to meet stringent safety, quality and durability standards suited to Indian road conditions. The brand has validated its technology through more than 1,00,000 km of road testing, over 2,500 hours of dynamometer validation, and extensive rider testing across a range of Indian conditions.

The EX complies with all applicable Indian safety and quality standards, with its platform meeting AIS 156 and AIS 038 safety requirements. The battery itself is backed by a comprehensive 5-year/60,000 km warranty, giving owners some solid peace of mind over the long haul.

Built On An Indigenous Technology Platform

At the heart of the EX sits AVORE Source, Avore Electric’s proprietary technology stack, paired with the AVR platform — its purpose-built electric motorcycle architecture. Over the past three years, the company has developed more than nine critical vehicle systems entirely in-house at its dedicated R&D centre in Ahmedabad, including the Battery Management System (BMS), battery pack, motor, motor controller, power control module, DC-DC converter, onboard fast charger, display system and proprietary operating system.

Avore has also filed more than 120 intellectual property applications along the way, building out what’s arguably one of India’s most comprehensive indigenous EV technology ecosystems. This vertically integrated approach allows for tighter integration between hardware and software, which in turn should mean better quality, reliability and faster innovation down the line.

Speaking on the launch, Priyank Rakholiya, Founder of Avore Electric, said the company dedicated three years to research, development, testing and validation ahead of the EX’s launch, to ensure class-leading engineering and innovation. He added that Avore is aiming for global-level safety and performance while pushing the boundaries of Indian-developed electric mobility technology stacks that deliver reliability, consistency and economic viability. The goal, he said, is to improve adoption and accessibility to world-class electric mobility solutions for every Indian, with the EX marking just the start of that journey.

Avore Electric EX Colour Options

The Avore EX is being billed as the first motorcycle across EV offerings to introduce premium dual-tone colour schemes. The EX 2S and EX 2 variants come in three dual-tone options — Starlit Blue Dual Tone, Meteor Red Dual Tone and Stellar Black Dual Tone — while the EX 1 sticks to three single-tone colours: Starlit Blue, Meteor Red and Stellar Black.

Availability

The Avore Electric EX is set to reach showrooms across key Indian cities from next month, with bookings already open on the official Avore Electric website.
