Triumph Motorcycles India has announced extended warranty scheme for the entire line-up in the country. This can be taken over and above the standard warranty of 24 months offered by the company and will be valid for another 2 years. Triumph announced this extended warranty scheme while launching its 2019 Street Scrambler and Street Twin models in the Indian market.
This scheme covers unlimited kilometres for all Triumph bikes with an aim to enable smoother ownership experiences for buyers. The warranty can apply globally across Triumph dealerships and is also transferable to new owners. This warranty scheme has coverage for the electrical components, gearbox components, engine parts, sensors, suspension setup, cooling circuit, swingarm components, frame assembly and the internal lubrication system among other aspects.
The extended warranty can be bought anytime in the period from the date of purchase of the Triumph motorcycle to the date till which standard warranty remains valid. Customers who are getting the extended warranty within the first 3 months of their purchase can obtain the same at more affordable price points. This will go up marginally once the initial period of 90 days gets over and of course rates differ from bike to bike.
