The big, bad Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS has also been updated for 2025 in India, and it now comes with even more firepower and higher-end componentry. The new price? Rs 20.39 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) — that’s a steep Rs 2.44 lakh increase, but there’s some meaningful stuff baked into that bump. Let’s start with power: the 1160cc triple now makes 183 HP and 128 Nm, up by 3 HP and 3 Nm from the previous model. This bump comes courtesy of a freer-flowing exhaust, while overall weight has gone up by just 1kg, bringing the total to 199kg.
The real headline change is the switch to Öhlins EC3 electronically adjustable suspension. It replaces the complicated manually adjustable units from the outgoing model — great news for riders who found the older setup too harsh, especially on less-than-perfect roads, and want to adjust it more frequently.
There are other upgrades too. The Speed Triple now comes with Pirelli Supercorsa V3 tyres instead of Metzeler Racetecs, and it finally gets a steering damper, something very welcome on a machine this powerful. Lighter wheels also make their debut, which should improve agility and handling by reducing unsprung mass.

The electronics package has been refined as well. One small but important change – wheelie control is now separate from traction control, so riders can fine-tune things to their liking. It’s a small tweak, but one that shows Triumph has been listening to rider feedback.
Aesthetically, the Speed Triple is now available in three colours – all-black, grey/red, and grey/yellow. Even though the price tag has crept up, the Speed Triple 1200 RS still undercuts its European rivals like the Ducati Streetfighter V4 and KTM 1390 Super Duke R, making it something of a performance bargain — relatively speaking.
