Triumph has launched the much awaited Daytona 660 in India. It has been priced from Rs. 9,72,450/ ex-showroom. Unlike the previous generation Daytona, the Daytona 660 is more focused towards everyday riding and not an out right screamer meant only for high speeds and the track.
The Daytona 660 is equipped with a triple engine that combines low-end torque with high-rpm power, offering a thrilling and distinctive riding experience. It generates 95PS at 11,250rpm and has a redline of 12,650rpm, delivering over 80% of its 69Nm peak torque as early as 3,125rpm. The new exhaust system, featuring 3-into-1 headers and a compact underslung silencer, enhances the engine’s unique sound.
Power is transmitted through a smooth six-speed gearbox, and the Triumph Torque Assist clutch ensures a light and progressive lever action. The clutch design also improves rear-wheel control during hard deceleration, allowing for smooth and confident corner entry. For even faster and easier clutch-less shifts, Triumph’s Shift Assist can be added as an accessory.
The Daytona 660 features a lightweight sports frame, premium Showa 41mm upside-down big-piston front forks, and a Showa rear suspension unit, delivering agile and responsive handling. The rear suspension is also adjustable for preload, allowing for quick setup changes.
The lightweight, five-spoked cast aluminum wheels minimize rotating mass, enhancing handling and suspension performance. Fitted with Michelin’s high-specification Power 6 tires, the Daytona 660 offers confident road handling in all conditions. The bike’s braking system includes twin four-piston radial calipers, lightweight 310mm discs, and a Continental ABS modulator, providing exceptional stopping power and braking feel.

The Daytona 660 is equipped with advanced technology to enhance the riding experience and safety. The ride-by-wire throttle ensures precise control and offers three riding modes: Sport, Road, and Rain. Each mode adjusts throttle response and traction control levels, with Sport mode delivering the most responsive experience for spirited rides or track sessions. Riders can also turn off the traction control for complete freedom.
The bike features multi-functional instruments with a color TFT screen integrated into a clear LCD display, ensuring easy readability in various lighting conditions. The optional My Triumph Connectivity System provides turn-by-turn navigation and allows phone and music interaction, all accessible via the switchgear and displayed on the TFT screen.

The Daytona 660 offers a natural riding position with clip-on bars positioned above the top yoke and foot pegs optimized for comfort and cornering clearance. This setup provides the necessary feedback for dynamic sports riding while ensuring comfort for long rides. At lower speeds, the bike’s well-balanced controls and light steering offer excellent maneuverability in urban environments.
The split rider and pillion seats, with a seat height of 810 mm and a narrow stand-over, make the Daytona 660 accessible for riders of various sizes. An optional low seat further reduces the height to 785 mm.
