Ola Electric has officially started delivering the highly anticipated S1 Pro+ (5.2kWh) scooter powered by its new 4680 Bharat Cell battery. This is a big milestone for Ola, as the S1 Pro+ is the first electric vehicle featuring their indigenously developed 4680 Bharat Cell pack, promising longer range, better performance, and improved safety.
With in-house production of these battery packs, Ola Electric has become India’s first fully integrated EV company owning the entire battery manufacturing process, from cells to packs.
The S1 Pro+ is powered by a 13 kW motor, accelerating from 0 to 40 km/h in just 2.1 seconds, and offers an impressive 320 km range (IDC with DIY mode). Riders can switch between four riding modes—Hyper, Sports, Normal, and Eco—to match their style and conditions. Safety is beefed up with category-first dual ABS and disc brakes on both front and rear wheels.
In terms of comfort and style, the S1 Pro+ sports enhanced ergonomics, a two-tone seat with supportive foam, body-coloured mirrors, a die-cast aluminium grab handle, rim decals, and is available in a palette of Passion Red, Porcelain White, Industrial Silver, Jet Black, Stellar Blue, and Midnight Blue.
