It is just a matter of days before Triumph makes the big announcement of its entire line up for 2013. But in a surprise announcement today, they have announced a limited edition Daytona 675  that is cosmetically themed on the iconic Daytona Super III of 1994.

Only 75 of these bikes would be made and in-fact they are custom painted at ‘8-ball paintwork’ and not an in-house project. Each bike will sport a number from 1-75 enhancing its uniqueness. The bike also gets a quick shifter, a carbon detailed cockpit, a carbon front mudguard, a carbon wrapped exhaust and adjustable alloy levers.

Bruno Tagliaferri, sales manager at Triumph UK, said: “The original Super IIIs have earned something of a cult status among riders, with any used originals flying out of dealers as soon as they hit the forecourt. That appetite for such a distinctive-looking bike inspired us to join forces with the guys at 8-Ball Paintwork to create this new tribute edition. The new Daytona 675 Super IIIs look really stunning and are sure to be very popular, given the restricted production run.”
