Many automotive events have been postponed thanks to the virus. Several media rides /drives and launches of new products have been canceled or postponed, and the Triumph Street Triple is only the latest victim.

Despite it being a digital launch, there would be several people involved in various tasks like the livestream, lights, sound, movement of motorcycles, etc. Someone from Triumph’s top management would also have to be present at the event, therefore making it a risky event overall.

This is the extent to which virus has affected the automotive industry. In-fact, the virus has affected the entire automotive industry. Manufacturers like Harley-Davidson, Honda, Hero MotoCorp, etc have suspended production operations until further notice.
