Mahindra has officially rolled out the updated 2026 Scorpio N in India, with prices kicking off at Rs 13.69 lakh (ex-showroom). The popular SUV gets a solid dose of fresh tech and convenience upgrades, including a massive panoramic sunroof, a 540-degree camera system, and much larger digital screens inside the cabin. Rolling on a fresh set of alloy wheels, the refreshed Scorpio N brings plenty of extra equipment to the table while keeping its proven petrol and diesel engines untouched.

2026 Mahindra Scorpio N: Variant-Wise Prices

The updated 2026 Mahindra Scorpio N range spans from Rs 13.69 lakh to Rs 25.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Looking at the cost changes compared to the outgoing version, the entry-level Z2 petrol manual sees a bump of Rs 20,000, while the range-topping Z8L diesel 4WD automatic now costs Rs 54,000 more.

Although the Scorpio N stands alone as the only body-on-frame, three-row SUV at this price point, its pricing directly overlaps with several monocoque-based rivals, such as the Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV7XO, MG Hector, and Hyundai Alcazar.

Here is the complete variant-wise ex-showroom price list (in Rs lakh):

Exterior Styling and Design Updates

On the outside, the updated Scorpio N hangs onto its iconic, upright, boxy stance. Key design cues remain intact, featuring a chrome six-slat grille, dual-barrel LED projector headlamps, C-shaped LED daytime running lights, and vertically stacked LED tail-lamps. The sculpted front bumper with its silver skid plate, squared-off wheel arches, roof rails, side steps, chrome exterior accents, and sequential LED indicators continue to give the SUV its signature rugged look.

Buyers can pick from five exterior shade options:

  • Everest White
  • Galaxy Grey
  • Oceanic
  • Stealth Black
  • Deep Forest

The major visual change on the outside comes down to the wheels. Higher-spec variants now ride on restyled 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, whereas lower-tier trims keep the previous wheel design.

Cabin Tech, Interior Comfort, and Safety Equipment

Inside, the cabin receives a noticeable tech boost. The earlier 8.0-inch infotainment unit has been replaced by a much larger 12.3-inch free-floating touchscreen display. Drivers also get a fully digital 10.25-inch instrument cluster, doing away with the previous setup that combined analogue dials with a 7.0-inch colour display. Front passengers will also appreciate the addition of a 65W USB Type-C fast-charging port.

Engine and Transmission Options

Underneath the updated shell, Mahindra has left the mechanicals completely unchanged. The SUV continues to rely on its existing turbocharged petrol and diesel engines paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque-converter automatic transmission.

  • 2.0-Litre Turbo-Petrol: Delivers 203hp and 370Nm of torque with the manual gearbox, while torque jumps to 380Nm when paired with the automatic.
  • 2.2-Litre Turbo-Diesel: Offered in two tunes. Lower-spec variants push out 132hp and 300Nm. Higher-spec trims output 175hp and 370Nm with the manual, or 400Nm with the automatic.

Rear-wheel drive (RWD) serves as standard across the lineup. Select diesel trims can be optioned with Mahindra’s ‘4XPLOR’ four-wheel-drive system, which features shift-on-the-fly functionality along with terrain modes for Sand, Mud & Ruts, and Snow. Diesel buyers also retain access to the Zip, Zap, and Zoom drive modes.
