Hyundai has officially rolled out a brand-new Lounge Edition across its popular SUV portfolio, introducing the special trim to the Creta, Creta Electric, and Alcazar. Based on the range-topping variants of each model, the Lounge Edition brings dedicated rear-seat infotainment, subtle cosmetic styling updates, and a unique seating revision for the three-row SUV.

Variant Pricing and Premiums

The Lounge Edition commands a price premium of up to Rs 90,000 over the corresponding standard trims (all prices ex-showroom, India):

All other mechanical specifications, powertrain options, and equipment levels carry over unchanged from the donor trims.

What Sets the Lounge Edition Apart?

The standout highlight inside the cabin is an 11.6-inch rear entertainment display designed specifically for second-row passengers. The unit supports over-the-top (OTT) video streaming, gaming, and smartphone mirroring, with access to a wide selection of downloads through an integrated app store. Alongside the entertainment tech, Hyundai has introduced crisp white ambient cabin lighting to replace the standard illumination.

Cosmetically, the Lounge Edition models debut a fresh Golden Bronze exterior paint shade, though buyers can still opt for the standard colour palette if they prefer. To create a stealthier contrast, the brand has treated several exterior elements to an all-black finish. This includes:

  • Blacked-out alloy wheels (retaining their factory dimensions: 18-inch wheels on the Creta and Alcazar, and 17-inch wheels on the Creta Electric)
  • Front and rear skid plates
  • Outside rear-view mirrors (ORVMs)
  • Roof rails and roof-mounted spoiler
  • C-pillar garnish

Step inside, and the cabin features an all-black dashboard complemented by silver inserts on the air-conditioning vents. The seats showcase a revised upholstery design dubbed the ‘Lounge seat design pattern’, along with dedicated ‘Lounge’ embossing on the headrest cushions.

Arguably the most notable functional shift arrives on the Alcazar Lounge Edition: while the standard SUV has strictly been a 6- or 7-seater affair, the Lounge Edition introduces a dedicated 5-seat layout.
